PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for learning and applying a hypergraph language model, and an apparatus and method for updating the hypergraph language model are provided to learn and apply a language model by immediately reflecting the variation of a language depending on the time in an environment in which a language model is updated by using the data of an interesting region. CONSTITUTION: A database(110) stores corpus data, and a hyperedge generator(120) generates a hyperedge based on the corpus data. A weight value calculating unit(130) calculates a weight value corresponding to the hyperedge. A hypergraph generator(140) generates a hypergraph based on the hyperedge and the weight value. An accumulation unit(150) accumulates the hyperedge and the weight value.
