The present invention relates to a traffic accident management system using a mobile terminal. The present invention provides a traffic accident management system comprising a mobile terminal which executes a traffic accident application service to create a traffic accident scene drawing; an information providing server which transmits traffic accident information associated with a traffic accident to the traffic accident application service, receives the traffic accident scene drawing and traffic accident data, and stores and manages the traffic accident scene drawing and the traffic accident data; and a DB server which interworks with the information providing server to transmit the stored traffic accident scene drawing and traffic accident data. According to the present invention, a traffic accident management method using a mobile terminal comprises: (a) a traffic accident application service executing step of executing a traffic accident application service at a mobile terminal; (b) a traffic accident drawing creating step of creating a traffic accident scene drawing at the mobile terminal; (c) an information transmitting step of transmitting and uploading the traffic accident scene drawing made by the mobile terminal and data thereon to an information providing server; (d) an accident reception step of performing the reception of the traffic accident through the DB server of a police station or a property insurance company, which interworks with the information providing server; and (e) a reference step of referring to the traffic accident scene drawing and data thereon stored in the information providing server, using the mobile terminal.
