PURPOSE: A porous bimetallic structure-based oxygen reducing electrode catalyst and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to improve the efficiency of oxygen reduction in a oxygen reducing electrode by coating palladium on metal nanoparticles. CONSTITUTION: A porous bimetallic structure-based oxygen reducing electrode includes porous gold nanoparticles coated with palladium. The palladium is coated on the inner surface or the outer surface of the porous gold nanoparticles. The porous gold nanoparticles coated with the palladium are in the shape of nanopores or hollow. The porous gold nanoparticles coated with the palladium include nanopores of 1 to 10nm sizes. The palladium are in the shape of particles of 5 to 50nm sizes. The porous gold nanoparticles are formed by adding a gold precursor into a cobalt nanoparticle solution and cause a galvanic replacement reaction.
