The present invention relates to an environmentally friendly vegetation composition for afforestation of a sloped surface. The vegetation composition comprises a vegetation base material of 60 to 70 wt% and a biodegradable vegetation chip of 30 to 40 wt%. In the vegetation base material, the germination and growth of seeds are actively performed, and the vegetation base material comprises granite soil of 15 to 40 wt% which is environmentally friendly material, culture soil of 15 to 60 wt%, forest tree pulverized material of 10 to 15 wt%, and afforesting adhesive of 1 to 3 wt%. The biodegradable vegetation chip consists of only a vegetation stable chip or is mixed with a vegetation moisturizing chip maintaining the moisture of the vegetation stable chip. The vegetation composition applied to a sloped surface generated when the ground is used is not separated from the sloped surface despite environmental changes such as rain and temperature. The vegetation composition does not pollute soil and is easily mixed, and plants can be actively grown. A net or the like is not installed on the sloped surface, but the environmentally friendly vegetation composition adheres on the sloped surface so as to afforest the sloped surface. The sloped surface is simply afforested, and afforestation work and management costs can be reduced.
