The present invention relates to converting into a useful compound through carbon dioxide capture by adsorbing carbon dioxide through reaction of carbon dioxide with alkali metal or alkaline earth metal hydroxide solid so as to form a stable compound. In addition, when adsorbing carbon dioxide, there is almost no degradation of the absorbent and possibility for being used as an effective, and stable absorbent is provided thereby having excellent economic efficiency.
