DEVICE FOR INVESTIGATION OF OPEN SHAFTS OF MULTIBRANCH HORIZONTAL WELLS

FIELD: oil and gas industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to operation of oil and gas wells, in particular, to geophysical investigations related to open shafts of multibranch horizontal wells. The device for investigation of open shafts of multibranch horizontal wells contains a geophysical tool run in at the pusher made as a column of air-tight hollow tubes for the purpose of investigations. At that at the lower end of the device there is a hydraulic whipstock that provides access of the geophysical tool to an open shaft of the multibranch horizontal well under influence of liquid excess pressure in the tube column. Besides the device is self-contained; it is installed off centre in a protective container. At that the protective container body is equipped with windows for geophysical investigations in an open shaft of the multibranch horizontal well. Inside the protective container body there is a hydraulic channel communicating the inner space of the air-tight hollow tube column and the hydraulic whipstock through a flexible and hollow joint.;EFFECT: improving reliability and efficiency of the device operation in open shafts of multibranch horizontal wells.;2 dwg
