FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, particularly, to preservation of separate bamboo blank. After drying to moisture content of 8-30%, long bamboo blank or several such blanks in a bundle are wrapped about with water- and gas-tight shrinkable film or fitted in sleeve of such film. Then, the film is subjected to high-temperature heating flow to shape it to packed blank. Film ends are secured at blank ends for package sealing. Said shrinkable film represents either PET, PVC or polyolefin film.;EFFECT: higher operating properties of bamboo product.;10 cl, 3 dwg
