Due to the interference on board of the LCF between e.g. radar systems and the EOV-receiver, there is a need for a blanking system. This blanking system will be connected on several transmitters and takes care of the blanking of the influenced receivers. Due to the fact that this blanking system has many connections with other systems, this system can provide many information about the connected systems. By means of connecting this system on the central databus of the ship (CDS), this information becomes available throughout the entire ship. This report consists of a system design and a functional design and is meant to be the baseline for designing such a system.
