The device (2) provided for laying out warning thresholds (1) on roads and for accommodating warning thresholds (1) laid in this way is based on warning thresholds (1) with ferromagnetic elements. The device (2) comprises first a verführbare and magnets having transfer unit (22) for converting the warning thresholds (1) and a magazine unit (23) for storage of auszustegenden and recorded warning thresholds (1). The device (2) further includes a connection unit (21) which on the one hand supports the transfer unit (22) and on the other hand is fastened to a frame (20). The magazine unit (23) is adjustable between a swiveled position approximated to the frame (20) and a swung-out position which is congruent in the vertical plane of the transfer unit (22). The transfer unit (22) is vertically adjustable with a pivoted magazine unit (23) between an uppermost position and a lowermost position approximating the road. When the magazine unit (23) is swiveled out, the transfer unit (22) can be adjusted vertically between the uppermost position and one of the magazine unit (23) from the top approximated storage position. The magnets in the transfer unit (22) are designed as permanent magnets. In the transfer unit (22) a plurality of magnets is arranged, and the warning threshold (1) comprises a plurality of ferromagnetic elements.
