The door sill structure has an inner sill (1), which extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body (20) with a C-shaped cross section and is oriented to the exterior of the vehicle body with its concave surface side. An outer sill (4) is arranged parallel to the inner sill and is formed as a hollow profile. The inner sill encompasses the outer sill with its concave surface side in a form-fit manner. The contour of the encompassed area of the outer sill is adjusted to the concave surface side. The inner sill is made of a hot-formed steel material or a fiber composite material.
