The assembly (30) has a ratchet wheel (10) and a coupling structure (20) which are permanently fixed with each other through a firmly bonded coaxial material. The ratchet wheel and the coupling structure are firmly connected by resistance welding. The ratchet wheel is provided with a shoulder portion. An elevated portion (15) is formed at a front end (12) of the coupling structure. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) the ratchet wheel; (2) the coupling structure; (3) the vehicle change speed gear for motor car; and (4) a method form manufacturing the component.
