The device (1) has a rotatable switching shaft (2) and a damper unit for equalization of force peaks that is arranged on the switching shaft. An additional mass (5), a braking unit, a planet gear with a sun gear, a ring gear and a planet gear with wheels are provided. The planetary gear binds the additional mass in transmission to the switching shaft and the braking unit is attached to the planet gear through a friction coupling. A friction disc is connected to the wheels through the spring element.
