The system (2) has a fuel cell (5) and system components e.g. humidifier (9), water separator (10), compressor (11), expansion device (12), recirculation conveying device (16) and valve device (18), that are enclosed by a system housing (19), where air flow passing through the system housing is produced by an air conveying device (27). The air flow is passed through a heat exchanger (26) before entering into the system housing, where the heat exchanger is designed in an electrically heated manner. A cooling heat exchanger (8) is arranged in an area of the fuel cell. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a fuel cell vehicle (2) a method for preparation of starting of a fuel cell system.
