The system has a vehicle closing element (1A) and a vehicle structure (F) that is provided with an aperture (O). A capacitive sensor device is set to detect an obstacle in adjusting path of vehicle closing element based on changing electric capacitance. The displacement of vehicle closing element is controlled, so as to avoid a clamping of detected obstacle between vehicle closing element and vehicle structure. The visual status of adjusting movement of vehicle closing element is detected to produce a person perceptible notification about a current by capacitive sensor device.
