The method involves measuring the inner pressure deviating from the external pressure surrounding a pipeline system (1) based on the analysis of the resistance of an inner region of the pipeline system. The possibility of failure of the leakage test due to blockage of leak of the pipeline system is reduced, by the transfer of oscillations on a specific point of the pipeline system through a vibrator (24). An independent claim is included for an arrangement for performing leakage test of piping system.
