The method (10) involves providing a size of a projectable image of a projection system in form of a matrix with defined number of pixels as matrix components. Each pixel of the matrix is associated with a radiation area. The pixels represented by a row of another matrix are compared with respective radiating regions of a light beam, where light-specific data of a predetermined light source is represented in the latter matrix. The compared pixels are mapped in an emission region of an incident light beam to provide the projectable image that is imaged by the projection system. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for representing light intensity distribution of a light source.
