The switch (70a) has switching elements (53a, 53b) exhibiting a voltage-dependant curve. The switching elements selectively connect an input terminal (50) with output terminals (61a, 61b). Compensation elements (65a, 65b) exhibit a voltage-dependant curve and are arranged such that the compensation elements partly compensate the voltage-dependant curve of the switching elements. The switching elements are designed as a cross element against mass based on a connection between the input terminal and the output terminals. The switching elements are controlled by a control terminal. The switching element is designed as a semiconductor component such as a pin diode or a transistor such as FET and micromechanical switch. An independent claim is also included for an electronic commutator.
