The method involves driving, braking or steering wheel with a tire, which is in contact with a road surface. A vehicle acceleration request is largely implemented by a determination of a control vector. A deviation between the current vehicle acceleration and the requested vehicle acceleration is determined and the control vector is determined for minimizing the deviation. An independent claim is included for a device for regulating the driving dynamics of a vehicle.
