The arrangement (1) has two camshafts (3, 4) where one end of one of camshafts includes a hub element (6) and a thread (7) connected to a screw (5) in engagement, where the screw and the end are projected. A clamping element (8) i.e. rounded wire ring (13), is arranged between the screw and the end of the camshaft, and engages in a receptacle (9) of the hub element, so that degree of freedom of the hub element to the other camshaft in an axial direction (10) is disabled. The hub element comprises an inner jacket surface (11) as a cylinder surface (16).
