The device has a branch pipe-carrying saddle piece sealingly arranged on a tubular conduit. The saddle piece is designed as a branch pipe half shell (1) that cooperates with a correspondence branch pipe half shell (2) such that the branch pipe and correspondence half shells comprise the tubular conduit. The branch pipe and correspondence half shells comprise bands that brace against each other. The branch pipe and correspondence half shells are made of a plastic material or a metallic material. A seal is provided between the tubular conduit and the branch pipe half shell. The bands are designed as a ring and a hose clip, respectively.
