The rail (10) has longitudinal channels i.e. upper and lower sack channels (18, 20), arranged in parallel in an elongate body (12) and connected together by a transverse channel (22) that is formed in a main body. Transverse holes (24, 28) led from one of the transverse channels to connection fittings (26, 30) that are rigidly connected to an outer side of the base body. One of the connecting fittings is designed for connecting a branch pipe that is attached with a consumer branch line, where the connection fittings are designed for connecting a high-pressure supply line. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement of a fuel rail for a fuel injection system.
