The device (100) has a gas-tight lockable reference chamber (110) and a gas-tight lockable testing chamber (130) receiving a reference sample (140) and actuated over terminals (114, 134) with pressure. The reference and testing chambers are thermally coupled with one another by a heat guiding plate and a base element (120) that represents a wall section of the reference and testing chambers. The reference and testing chamber comprises a lid and/or an upper part (132). A seal (136) is arranged at a portion of the base element and formed as a seal ring.
