The shoe has a shoe sole (1) made of rubber, and a breathable insole (2) made of foamed plastic material i.e. polyurethane. The foamed plastic material comprises foam cells, where a portion of greater than 50% of the foam cells are open-celled such that the plastic material is gas-permeable i.e. air and/or steam-permeable. The insole comprises a multi-part structure with an insole upper part (8) and an insole base part (9). The plastic material is provided with an antibacterial additive and an antistatic additive. The base part comprises a fleece material, knitted fabrics or a felt material. The shoe sole is designed as a shell sole.
