The main rotor shaft device has a rotor shaft (14) which is rotatably fastened to a rotor supporting element (16). The rotor supporting element is rotatably mounted on the outer circumference (20) of a rotor (12). A sheet-metal ring (18) is positioned beyond the outer circumference of the rotor support element and is protruded axially on the rotor supporting element, so that the sheet-metal ring is faced away from the side face of the rotor support element whose side portion is provided with a collar (22) for receiving a resolver (24).
