The transmission (1) has sub-transmissions (2,3) with an input shaft (EW1,EW2) that is connected with a driven shaft (AW) by using wheel planes (I-VIII) and/or switching elements (S1-S9). Switching devices (SE1-SE5) and wheel planes are arranged with each other. The switching device (SE3) is provided with switching elements (S5,S6), such that wheel planes (III,IV) of different sub-transmissions are connected with one another. A connection portion is produced on countershaft (VW1) for transmission of force and rotational torques of input shaft (EW1) by using wheel planes (III,IV).
