The radio has a battery interface (14a) which is integrally formed with radio housing (12a) which is formed on one side of battery accommodating portion (16a). The hand tool battery (18a) is provided in battery accommodating portion and is electrically coupled to battery accommodating portion. The sides of battery housing are partially limited to be the maximum of four sides. An independent claim is included for assembly of construction site radio, hand tool battery and hand tool box.
