The absorbent heat exchanger (66) has an absorbent for transferring the heat energy (38) between an object and an operating unit (6), where a chamber is formed, in which the absorbent is partially received. A transmission line connection (68) is provided to the chamber, through which the operating unit is exchangeable between a thermodynamic cycle and the chamber. A valve (70) is provided to the transmission line connection for controlled closing of the chamber. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a cooling device with a thermal conductivity connection; and (2) an internal combustion engine with a combustion chamber.
