The method involves using a planar textile material, which is coated with a ceramic material. The portion of the ceramic material is covered with oxides, nitrides and carbides of silicon, aluminum, titanium, zirconium, magnesium, zinc, yttrium, cerium, copper, iron, nitrides of boron, aluminum, silicon, zirconium, or mixed oxides such as spinel or aluminum silicates. The amount of the ceramic material coated on the textile material is about 0.3-120 gram per meter square. The garment is attached in the body portion e.g. thigh, to be treated during physical activity of a user. The portion of ceramic material is covered with mixed nitrides or mixed carbides of silicon, aluminum or titanium, granite, jade, mica, fluorite, calcite, tourmaline and related minerals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a resilient garment for treatment of cellulite (2) a method for manufacture of a resilient garment.
