The guide vane has a carrier ring (10) that is rotatably provided with several guide vanes (11). The carrier ring is arranged opposite to a contour of a sleeve (12) so that the guide vanes are rotatably positioned between the carrier ring and contour of the sleeve. A first gap (13) is formed between the contour of the sleeve and vanes. A second gap (14) is formed between the carrier ring and vanes. The carrier ring is formed from a material with low expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity to reduce the first gap.
