The swash plate machine (1) has a cylinder drum (5) that is rotationally and fixedly connected to a drive shaft (9) mounted about a rotational axis (8). A swivel cradle (14) is pivotally mounted in cradle bearing (20) about pivot axis (15) by a swing (24). A low-pressure opening is formed to input and/or discharge hydraulic fluid into and/or out of rotary piston bores (6). A high-pressure port is provided to remove and/or introduce fluid from and/or to bores. A bearing (10) for drive shaft is formed as axial sliding bearing (33) and/or as radial sliding bearing (34). An independent claim is included for a powertrain.
