The method involves providing an output medium in a user interface (2) with which operating parameters are displayed. The first operating parameter is represented by a physical effect and the second operating parameter is represented by a physical effect of different type with respect to first physical effect. The first operating parameter is represented by effect of light color and audio-frequency effect and the second operating parameter is represented by the effect of light intensity and sound volume effect. An independent claim is included for a user interface.
