The actuating system has a suspended piston (4) that is operatively connected and axially moved in housing (1.1) using drive over gear unit (3). The pressure is generated in pressure chamber (5) when piston is actuated in housing. A sensor senses position of piston and outputs a sensor signal. The gear box includes a driven threaded spindle (7) which is operatively connected with piston by hydrostatic clutch actuator (HCA) nut (10). The sensor includes a sensor element (15) which detects the position of HCA nut.
