The method involves completing reconstruction not fulfilling a retainer trajectory (7) using Tuy condition under different projection directions along the retainer trajectory relative to an object (2). A reconstruction image is determined by rear projection within a curved picture plane. Back projected image data is corrected by using a low pass filter kernel according to the picture plane and the retainer trajectory. The retainer trajectory is partly selected such that a tangent line lies parallel to the picture plane at a location of the picture plane connected by the central beam. The retainer trajectory is designed as a straight line.
