The method involves detecting measurement data (p) during a relative rotational motion between radiation sources (C2, C4) of a computer tomography system (C1) and an investigation object by detectors (C3, C5). The measurement data of a projection are investigated with respect to differences. The measurement data are corrected for reducing extra focal radiation effects. The correction is performed only with respect to selected measurement data that comprise a minimum difference to other measurement data. Reconstruction of image data is performed using the corrected measurement data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control-and computing system for reconstructing image data (2) a computer tomography-system comprising a control-and computing system (3) a computer program comprising program codes for reconstructing image data (4) a machine readable data carrier comprising program codes of a computer program for reconstructing image data.
