A dual clutch assembly (100) is attached to test shafts of test unit (200). A drive motor (300) is coupled to a coupling input shaft. The dual clutch assembly is driven by drive motor, the individual pressurizing of oil ports with oil pressure from appropriate oil sources is performed, and the rotational torques on test shafts are measured. The dual clutch assembly in vertical axial alignment is attached to vertically aligned test shafts and the test unit is tilted together with dual clutch assembly in horizontal axial alignment, during establishment step.
