The device (1) has a gripping unit (10) i.e. handle, and two arms (20a, 20b) comprising a set of free distal ends (21a, 21b). A urethral support strip (11) i.e. Gynecare tension-free transvaginal(RTM: Minimally invasive effective outpatient treatment strip for stress urinary incontinence), is stretched between the distal ends of the arms. The arms are provided with a set of proximal ends. A junction (14) is provided at the proximal ends of the arms, and spacing of the distal ends of the arms is predetermined. The arms are provided with a V-shaped head (12).
