The component (EE) i.e. black box, has an electric terminal (BE) that is suitable to be connected to a thimble (CE) of an electric cable (CA). The electric terminal is arranged externally and is connected to a sectile connection element (EL) that is arranged in an electrically conducting manner. A protection case built in an electrically insulating material is arranged to induce a section of the connection element in the event of collision with a nearby element, while preventing electrical contact with the electric terminal and/or thimble.
