The control element (20) has a sleeve (26) slidable and rotatable around an axis. Multiple control fingers (22, 24) controls gear shift forks. A deformable thrust comprises two deformable flanges (28, 30), which are provided at each ends of the sleeve. The control fingers, the sleeve and the deformable thrust are made of plastic material. The sleeve is extended beyond one or multiple sides of a metal main body (32) in a direction of the sleeve. The deformable thrust is integrally formed with the sleeve.
