The collector includes multiple parallel branches (37) respectively arranged between the ends of two adjacent heat exchange tubes, so that the thickness (e) of the branches defines a space between the two adjacent heat exchange tubes. The collector is serpentine in shape, and includes riders (39) to arrange the branches parallel between the ends of two adjacent tubes. An independent claim is also included for a method of producing a collector of a manifold of a fluid heat exchanger from a metal strip.
