The arrangement has a support part (1) formed with an opening (2) for assembling a component i.e. reversing camera. A locking mechanism (3) is mounted on a side (1a) of the support part. The support part comprises a masking element (4) at the opening to prevent visual and/or physical access to the locking mechanism through the opening from another side (1b) of the support part, where the latter side of the support part is opposite to the former side of the support part. The support part is formed as a part of an opening frame of a vehicle.
