The assembly (1) has a camshaft that includes a cam that is movable in rotation around an axis (X). A control device (20) is arranged for controlling position of a latch (13), and includes variable magnetic field sources such as permanent magnets, that generates magnetic field. The magnetic field allows maintenance of position of the latch. A mobile arm (23) is ready to be moved by the cam of the camshaft. The latch is moved such that a transmission system (5) passes from one configuration to another configuration or reciprocally.
