The cycle has a lock arranged in a yoke rod and operating an activating rod extending parallel to a longitudinal axis. The activating rod controls a locking unit i.e. rotary bolt, to lock an end of an anti-theft cable. A selective blocking unit (56) i.e. cam, selectively blocks the yoke rod in rotation with respect to a steering column tube (8). The cam is arranged in the yoke rod and controlled by the lock and moved between two configurations. Limiting units have a radial internal surface (78) and a feet (76) and limit torque transmitted between an element i.e. ring (70), and the tube. The selective blocking unit is not opposed to rotation of the yoke rod with respect to the tube when the selective blocking unit is in one of the configurations. The yoke rod is blocked in rotation with respect to the element connected to the tube when the selective blocking unit is in the other configuration.
