The ring (4) has two rigid sectors (5) articulated with respect to each other by an annular elastically deformable portion (12), where the sectors and the portion are formed from a single piece. A single portion is connected to the sectors, where the sectors form free ends of the ring. The sectors and the portion are formed, so that the ring is opened to form an arc of a circle greater than 180 degrees when the ring is in the rest position. The portion is formed so as to be elastically deformable in axial and circumferential manner. The ring is made of plastic material charged with glass fibers. An independent claim is also included for a connection unit to connect a pipe to a tubular body.
