An aircraft fuel pump system is located within an aircraft fuel tank 20 and comprises an aircraft fuel pump 22 and a pressure sensor 26 connected to the aircraft fuel pump via a sensor line 28,30. The senor line includes a reservoir 24 located between the aircraft fuel pump and the pressure sensor. The reservoir acts to prevent liquid contacting the pressure switch when the fuel pump is not active. The reservoir 40 includes an input 42 that feeds into a sump 46 and an output 44 that connects to a pressure switch.
