The common rail fuel injection system (20,30), for the fuel injectors (16) at an internal combustion motor, has a reservoir (12) where fuel is held under a high pressure, with a feed from a pressure pump (6). The reservoir pressure is registered by a pressure sensor (20). The fuel injection control (30) sets the fuel injection action according to the pressure and fuel volume in the reservoir. A correction unit computes the injection action to reduce the difference between the measured fuel pressure and a standard value, which also gives a correction value for the subsequent fuel injection.
