PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for coating an electric wire/cable which can reduce a load to an extruder and has excellent shape-retaining property after extrusion molding and to provide an electric wire/cable using the same.;SOLUTION: There are provided: a resin composition for coating an electric wire/cable which comprises 70 to 92 mass% of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer (a) having a melt flow rate (at 190°C and under 21.18 N load) of 2.0 g/10 min or less and 8 to 30 mass% of a high density polyethylene (b) having a density of 0.945 to 0.962 g/cm3 and a melt flow rate (at 190°C and under 21.18 N load) of less than 0.2 g/10 min; and an electric wire/cable having an extruded sheath obtained by extrusion molding the resin composition for coating an electric wire/cable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
