PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply ink by a cylindrical printing plate and to reduce concentration of thermal stress on a heating body as a part of a thermal head in plate making.;SOLUTION: A stencil printer has a plate making part 3 which makes a master having a plurality of printing plates on the basis of a document image, and can perform double-speed printing in which the made master is mounted on a cylindrical printing plate cylinder and a plurality of prints are made in one rotation of the cylindrical printing plate cylinder. Control means 200 of processing the document image for making the master by the plate making part 3 includes printing area deviation determination means 220 of acquiring a deviation in printing amount between division areas obtained by dividing the document image into two, and determining whether the acquired deviation in printing amount is equal to or larger than a deviation determination threshold, and image rotation means 223 of rotating one of document images of two successive planes by 180° on condition that the document images of the two successive planes both have deviations in printing amount equal to or larger than the deviation determination threshold and division areas, having larger printing amounts, of the document images of the two successive planes are successive, the areas having the larger printing amounts being made not successive in the document image forming the two successive planes of the master.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
