PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation value calculation method, a program, and an evaluation value calculation apparatus that can calculate an evaluation value of individual driving characteristics for each condition specifying date/time or a travel path.SOLUTION: In an evaluation value calculation method, a computer 30, which is accessible to a storage section 303 for storing information, calculates an evaluation value of driving characteristics related to a driver of a vehicle. The method includes: accessing the storage section 303 in which speed information relating to the vehicle is stored in association with time information; reading out the speed information; and calculating an evaluation value related to speed change of the vehicle for each condition specifying date/time on the basis of the read speed information.
