PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric charge transportation type varnish in which a thin film can be baked at a low temperature of 200°C or less and the film formed under such baking conditions has high flatness and high charge transportability, and which can achieve excellent EL element characteristics when the thin film is applied to an organic EL element.SOLUTION: An electric charge transportation type varnish contains an electric charge transportation type material, a dopant and an organic solvent, the dopant contains heteropoly acid and at least one kind selected from halogenoid tetracyanochinodimethane and halogenoid or cyano benzoquinone.
