PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the power output generated by a photovoltaic power module.SOLUTION: A plurality of power conversion circuits of a photovoltaic power module measure the module output power generated as a whole. The module output power is characterized by a module power supply output curve having a peak. The output power measured currently is compared with an output power measured before. The photovoltaic power module determines a current orientation variable, indicating the side of a peak where the photovoltaic power module is operating currently, based on the previous orientation variable, indicating the side of a peak where the photovoltaic power module was operating before, and the comparison of the output power measured currently and the output power measured before. Switching periods of the plurality of power conversion circuits are adjusted.
